Water Marbled Paper
Each 9" x 12"
At Wing Lake Developmental Center, Olivia Heron and I prepared this activity for a class of 9th-12th graders, each with severe cognitive impairments. Each student was given choices of paint colors, given multiple tools to put the paints into a solution of corn starch and water, then given other tools to swirl the colors together. We assisted each student with applying the paper to the solution's surface, and rinsed each paper to reveal the marbled paper to each student.
This was by far one of the funnest days of my life!
