3D Art & Design Class Samples
These projects were each long-lived with multiple evaluation phases, including concept sketching, reference research and reporting, and miniature practice sessions with the materials.
Students were provided in-depth demonstrations of the materials capabilities and brainstorming groups. Since these were complex builds, multiple class segments were dedicated to work time.
The requirements for these projects were that the students needed peer review in-process, sketch approval, and presentation at the conclusion of their project.
How were they evaluated?
- Plan execution (Did the students follow through on their plan? How did they mitigate and resolve issues?)
- Process review evaluations with peers and instructor (Could they clearly communicate their intentions? Were their sketches approved?)
- Is the final piece functional and serving the original intent?
